One safe place for children and family to grow
In our municipalities there is care and school for development for children.
Childcare in Sweden includes preschool, recreational home and educational care (family home). It is available to children from the age of one year until they start school. Municipalities are responsible for providing childcare, but there are also private options. Childcare aims to support children’s development and learning through play, rest and educational activities.
In our region, we have a network of preschools, holiday homes and educational care for families with children. All preschools offer a safe and stimulating environment for children. It is good to apply in good time to secure space, contact your influential pilot or municipality for more information.
