Dorotea Municipality offers safe and accessible educational opportunities throughout life. Preschool is available starting at age one, with free public preschool beginning at age three. Elementary schools are located in both Dorotea and Risbäck, with after-school programs integrated into the schools.
High school education is provided in collaboration with other municipalities, which gives students a wider range of options. For adults, there is the Dorotea Learning Center, where you can study, receive support and guidance, and take everything from individual courses to SFI—free of charge for those who want to learn Swedish.
